Digital designers have the chance to collaborate and work between Brand, Marketing and Product. Working at the top of the funnel you will be designing pages viewed by millions. An incredible opportunity to help develop our brand awareness and have a direct impact on our MAUs and revenue goals. Being the first touchpoint at the start of the user journey, you will be responsible for delivering landing pages that answer the user’s needs and drive adoption. Working in a cross-functional team you will be responsible to bring the design to life from start to finish. That may involve a wide range of tasks such as brainstorming, writing creative briefs or design documents, wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, interactions, etc...

About the group

The Print & Partnerships group is building the best creation tool in the world for print products and unleashing the power of Canva via print and digital partnerships (Canva for Partners) with the world’s leading organizations - we’ve already launched some big collaborations with FedEx, Office Depot, HubSpot, and Facebook, with many more in the pipeline.


Our group is doubling down on doing a wide range of new product initiatives to drive our teams’ growth, from launching 100’s of new print products to developing strategic relationships with key technology & e-commerce partners - all contributing to accelerate Canva’s vision to empower the world to truly design anything and publish anywhere.

We’ve seen incredible growth and we are rapidly scaling in this space, but there is a whole lot more to do to achieve our vision and so we are looking for a Digital Designer to join us and help propel us towards our mission.

About the candidate

As our Digital Designer, you will be an integral part of our group’s growth trajectory by helping our teams bring to life projects with high strategic value. Working closely with Brand, Marketing, and Product, you will create landing pages, digital assets and artifacts that’ll help our teams to deliver on our mission to design anything, publish anywhere

The ideal candidate is an all-around digital designer who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.  

You should have a passion for working with the product teams and key stakeholders to see your designs serve the needs of our users

We are looking for someone who can solve complex problems with a systematic approach in a fast-paced environment. Working within a cross-functional team you’ll be collaborating and communicating with stakeholders across Canva Print and Canva for Partners to deliver projects that’ll have a large-scale impact on Canva

Goals the candidate will achieve

  • Settle in, learn the Print & Partnerships landscape at Canva and help the team to execute a new product project from the current roadmap (first 3 months)
  • Work with the team to launch a range of Marketing Landing pages 
  • Maintain and Improve our key pages across Canva Print and Canva for Partners
  • Work with the team to produce a range of digital assets to be used across our group
  • Conceptualize and drive experiments to optimize conversion and generate engagement

Experience you'll need

  • 4 + years experience as a digital designer, designing & shipping landing pages, features and assets — prior Integrations or eCommerce experience are a huge plus. 
  • A portfolio that demonstrates experience in designing landing pages,
  • You work iteratively and have experience with conversion optimization, A/B testing, User testing and using data to inform design decisions.
  • You are a designer that is constantly inspired—motivating those around you through your passion and drive for what you do.
  • You are excited by regularly coming up with new ideas, shipping new products and features that address your users’ real needs. 
  • You shine through your designs—creating user flows and wireframes that simplify user interactions 
  • You are eager to visually communicate your ideas through prototypes to test with users.  
  • You thrive in a collaborative workplace; partnering with other designers, engineers, product developers and other disciplines throughout the company.
  • You appreciate big picture thinking. While details are everything, creating an experience that always keeps our users in mind is equally as important. 
  • You are a problem solver that’s excited by a challenge. You enjoy sitting in a room and whiteboarding ideas to confidently come up with simple, elegant solutions that everyone can move forward with.  
  • You are an empathetic user advocate that values the backing of research and data analysis when it comes to designing modern solutions.
