We are one of the world’s fastest-growing technology companies and we have only achieved about 1% of what we want to do.

About the Presentations Group

The Presentations group at Canva is relatively stable and mature, with origins dating back to January 2018. During that time we’ve helped grow the presentations vertical into one of the most-used across Canva, with nearly one-quarter of Canva MAUs being users of presentations. In that time, we’ve developed a range of features loved by users including presentation mode, Q&A, reactions, embeds, and all the other functionality which powers this flagship Canva product.

Historically the group started as a small frontend-only team, and since then we’ve evolved into a truly full-stack engineering group with ~20 engineers spread across three teams: Presentations Experience, Presentations Platform, and Charts.

Despite our existing rich and full-featured current offering, we have some large goals ahead of us. We’ve barely scratched the surface of remote presenting, big integrations, interactive presentations, a preso toolkit, live data in charts, offline presentations, and more.

The Presentations Group is looking for a new engineering leader that will strive will help us capitalize on our potential and good foundations as we deliver a truly industry-leading product.
