About the template team

From branding to social media, posters to stickers, to videos and beyond, the Template Design Team empowers our users to create stunningly beautiful content—by beginning their journey with a perfect and easily customizable template design. Canva’s templates team is building the world’s best design marketplace, with a library of designs that offer our users a wide variety of on-trend and usable content. We need the help of talented designers that can create and curate amazing visuals, to pave the way for the future of our design library.

About the role

As the Program Manager for our rapidly growing Print & Digital Partnership team you will be responsible for coordinating our global team of Creatives; helping them to deliver beautiful templates for our Print & Digital Partners. As part of our vibrant and friendly creative studio, you'll have the opportunity to work on exceptional brand solutions for some of the world's leading companies. You'll be an integral part of Canva's creative offering as you organise projects, build relationships and guide the team to deliver extraordinary work. 

About the candidate

We are looking for an organisational whiz, a master of timelines, juggler of multiple projects  and a creative management guru. You are a calm, approachable manager who exemplifies the Canva value of 'making complex things simple'. Ideally you will come from a creative agency background with extensive client management expertise,  a solid understanding of the creative process and have experience delivering print &/or digital campaigns or projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee a program of Print & Digital Partnership work delivering creative solutions on time and to brief
  • Partner with the Creative Leads to lead  our creative teams to develop and deliver exceptional work for our partners 
  • Develop strong relationships with our Partners; supporting them to fully succeed with Canva by providing them creative strategies, solutions and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with our Client Managers to ensure the creative team has sufficient time and resources to deliver exceptional work. Ownership, and leadership, of creative resourcing and capacity tracking
  • Optimise team processes to ensure the Print & Digital Partnership team are operating efficiently and happily while delivering world class creative solutions
  • Build an innovative and inclusive creative culture

Experience you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Management, Account Director or Operations Manager role with a creative studio, agency or tech company
  • Experience prioritising, managing and tracking multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Able to talk to project management tools and resource planning  with experience optimising team processes
  • You have the magic ability to interpret creative briefs and understand the resource and skills required to deliver exceptional, high quality work
  • You love building relationships that lead to business growth and success for both Canva and our Partners
  • You are a people person who thrives in a team and collaborative working environments
  • You are a brand lover who gets giddy at the thought of working for some of the world's leading brands (Canva included!!)
