CreatEcoHungary Supporting the Supporters who cure social illness Our aim is to hear the voice of the social helpers, what they like about their work and the main challanges they face. As external “observers”, we might create different ideas in order to handle these challanges. The ideas are going to be validated together with the target group, so in the end of the collaborative process sustainable solutions can be delivered. Social workers are positive about knowledge sharing events or professional conversations, but they rarely have any opportunity to participate. Social workers would be happy to work in collaboration with eachother. They recognize their limits, and they would happY to send a patient to a partner organization in order to provide the best care for the client. How might we foster fruitful cooperation between the organizations at all levelS? society is prejudice against persons who suffer from addictions. social illnesses are tabus for the people who are not affected. The soceity does not recognize the importance and resposibility of social workers who deal with these issues. Therefore, these organizations have less support from any source. How might we make the society to realize the importance of the work of these organizations?
