want to add your own photos or videos to a canva design with canva it's easy to upload and add media to any school project let's explore how

begin with photos click the uploads tab to upload media here you'll be prompted to choose a photo from your computer like this or you can simply drag and drop the images like this your photo is now saved in the uploads tab adding your photo to a design just click it like this want to upload more than one photo save time by holding the shift key to select all the images you would like to upload

now let's upload a video you can upload any video up to one gigabyte in size simply select the video file from your computer you don't even have to wait for your upload to finish to add it to a design click to add your video and start editing while it uploads it works the same way for audio files too select any audio up to 250 megabytes you can add a backing track to a design like a presentation or even upload a voiceover for a video project and trim it like this our group tested the solubility of salt sugar flour and chalk powder we did an experiment on each and compared the results access all your uploads for any design in canva head over to the uploads tab to view your images videos and audio you can easily delete or download your files by selecting the ellipses like this you can also manage all your files by going to uploads here

go to uploads and record yourself here allow your browser to access your device's camera and microphone when asked position your video recording in your design select record and get ready to go after the countdown make recording easy by using pause and resume between takes

once you're finished select done to play it back want to re-record your video no problem just select delete here then start a new recording

ready to add your recording to your design head over to save and exit and your video will automatically appear in your design you can find your video recording in the videos tab under uploads or in your uploads folder here this makes it easy to add your video recording to any design you create in canva when recording a video you can also share your screen this is a great way to create an explainer video or demonstrate something on your computer in the recording studio just go to screen share here you can select your entire screen or a particular window or tab from your browser let's try window

select record and minimize your browser your screen will be captured as you demonstrate and the facecam will record you at the same time when you're finished simply select stop sharing here return to the recording studio to watch your video like this select save and exit to add it to your design both videos will be saved in your uploads here want to just record your screen simply select no camera here
