to find images select the elements tab and type your keyword in the search bar use the filters to search for a specific orientation or color and use these tabs to restrict your search to photos or illustrations
to use your own photos click the uploads tab to import them into canva once you find the right image add it to your design with a click
composition and balance are crucial to a good design so it's important for your image to be the right size let's see how you can adjust images in canva to resize your image drag one of the white circle handles on the corner to crop your image click crop in the toolbar above the editor and drag the crop handles on the corners
to reposition the image within your cropped frame double-click and move it around or resize it
if you want to showcase your images in more creative ways search for frames in the elements tab choose a frame and then simply drag your image into it and adjust it as you like
there's more to images than cropping and resizing click edit images to explore a world of creative possibilities select adjust to edit your images to match your design
going for a warm look try playing with the tint slider or make your image warmer or cooler remember less is more and subtle adjustments usually work best looking for a more dramatic effect increase the contrast and try bringing the shadows down
