Use ‘Magic /’ for Inspiration within the Editing Canvas

Introducing the fastest way to add a little magic to your designs. When using Canva on your desktop, press ‘/’ on your keyboard to quickly add text, shapes, or anything from our content library, without clicking away from the editing canvas. You can now find the perfect content without disrupting your creative flow.

Google Photos Integration

Great news! We’ve integrated the Google Photos App with Canva on web. Find the app in the object panel, connect your accounts, and make it easy to add your photos and videos directly to your Canva Designs. Once activated, why not try creating a personalized Photo Book using pictures of your friends and family?

Design Insights

Design owners and team admins can now track engagement with their designs using the Insights tab in the top bar of the editor. You can keep track of total views using the free version of Canva, or get even more data with Canva Pro, which offers a daily timeline of unique views, and shows who has viewed your design.

Don’t let your text fade into the background. Create scroll-stopping designs with Background Text Effects and make sure your message stands out.

Linking Shortcut

Adding links to your Canva designs is now easier than ever. Use the shortcuts Ctrl+K on PC or Cmd+K on Mac to add links without clicking away from the canvas.

Handover Projects Easily with Ownership Transfer

Easily manage changes in your team with Ownership Transfer. Admins now have the ability to reassign ownership of designs to another team member, meaning you can keep your live projects flowing when it's time to hand over the reins.
