Acceptable Use Policy

All users (“you” or “your”) of Canva must comply with Canva’s Acceptable Use Policy which places certain restrictions on how you use Canva, the content you upload to Canva, and the content you create on Canva. If you are an entity other than a natural person accessing the Service, “you,” as used in this Acceptable Use Policy, means both the entity and each person accessing the Service pursuant to an agreement between the entity and Canva. For purposes of this Acceptable Use Policy, the “Service” means Canva.com and any of the products, services, and content made available by Canva.


Canva reserves the right to make any determinations in relation to compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy at its sole discretion. This Acceptable Use Policy may be updated from time to time to provide guidance on new situations as they arise.

You agree not to upload content to the Service, create content on the Service, or use the Service in any manner that:

(i) Promotes or creates a risk of physical or mental injury, emotional distress, death, disability, disfigurement to you or any person;

(ii) Promotes or creates a risk of harm, loss, or damage to any property;

(iii) Seeks to harm or exploit children by exposing them to inappropriate content, asking for personally identifiable details, or in any other manner;

(iv) Is harassing, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, defamatory, invasive of personal privacy or publicity rights, libelous, or threatening;

(v) Promotes violence or hostility;

(vi) Contains any information which discriminates against others based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, ancestry or national origin;

(vii) Contains any information or content that is illegal (including, without limitation, the disclosure of insider information under securities law or of another party’s trade secrets);

(viii) Is sexually explicit or pornographic in nature

(ix) Involves the sale or promotion of illegal activities, products, or services;

(x) Is fraudulent or promotes fraudulent activity

(xi) Violates the rights of any individual or third party, including their intellectual property and data privacy rights

(xii) Contains any information or content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or due any contractual or fiduciary duties;

(xiii) Contains any information or content that you know is not factual.

Anti-discrimination

Canva does not support and will not tolerate its Service being used to discriminate against others, especially when based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, ancestry or national origin. You are not permitted to use the Service in a manner which would or would likely incite, promote or support such discrimination and you must not use the Service to incite or promote hostility or violence. If we believe in our sole determination that your use of the Service is being used to discriminate, especially if based on race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, ancestry or national origin, we may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the Service without notice and liability for any reason.
