Troubleshooting

I’m not seeing the Pixel Eraser

It’s available to all Canva users. If you’re on a free plan and the image is premium, the tool won’t show. To use the Pixel Eraser on premium content, you’ll need to upgrade.

I erased too much by accident

Use the Restore brush or press Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo.

The eraser isn’t working on my image

Make sure the image is selected, then select Edit image. It only works on JPG and PNG files, not vector graphics or Canva elements.

My edits aren’t saving

Select Done to apply your changes. If that doesn’t work, check your internet connection and refresh the page.

FAQs

No. You’ll need to select and edit each image individually.

Which file types does the Pixel Eraser work on?

It works on JPG and PNG images. It doesn’t work on vector graphics or Canva elements.
