Submit Google Classroom assignments
Complete your Google Classroom assignments directly in Canva with an easy submission process. When your teacher assigns an activity, you can open it, edit your design, and submit, all without leaving the Canva editor.
Open the assignment
- In Google Classroom, find the assignment your teacher posted and select the Canva link.
- Canva will open and automatically create your own copy of the design to work on.
Complete and submit the assignment
- Finish your design in the Canva editor.
- When you're ready, select Submit to Google Classroom.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Select Submit to send your assignment to your teacher.
- You'll see a confirmation screen. Select View in Google Classroom to go to your submitted assignment.
Your teacher will be able to view your submitted design in Google Classroom.
After you submit, your design is locked and can only be viewed by your teacher. To make changes, select Unsubmit, or wait for your teacher to request resubmission.
Make changes after submitting
If you need to update your assignment:
- Open your design in Canva.
- Select Unsubmit.
- Make your changes.
- Select Resubmit to Google Classroom.
