Create and discover curriculum-mapped resources with Learn Grid
Learn Grid is Canva's learning library where you can find curriculum-mapped resources, AI-generated learning materials, and teaching tools, all in one place. Whether you're a teacher, parent, tutor, or independent learner, you can browse and filter content to find what you need. Use AI tools to generate lessons, presentations, and activities tailored to your goals.
Explore content types
Learn Grid brings together two types of content:
- Ready-to-Teach (RTT) resources are pre-made, curriculum-mapped templates created for classroom use.
- AI-generated content lets you create custom learning materials directly in Learn Grid. These cards display an Edit with AI badge and are visually distinct from RTT templates. AI tools available in Learn Grid include generative worksheets, whiteboards and interactive games.

Browse and filter content
Once you're in Learn Grid, you can explore resources in two ways:
Browse by subject card
- Subject cards appear as visual tiles in the subject cards section (such as English Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, History, and 21st Century Skills). Selecting a card automatically filters the grid to that subject so you can quickly narrow your results.
Use the filters
- For more specific results, use the filters to combine multiple criteria at once:
- Country
- Defaults to your location based on your IP address. You can change this at any time.
- Grade
- Subject
- Topic
- Country
- For more specific results, use the filters to combine multiple criteria at once:
The Topic filter lets you find resources by specific learning standards. For example, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.7.5 for US Common Core, or Kurikulum Merdeka standards for Indonesia. Available in the United States, Australia, Indonesia, and Mexico. When you select a country, Learn Grid automatically applies the correct national curriculum, so you don’t need to choose a curriculum framework manually.
Results update automatically as you select subject cards or apply filters.

FAQs
Who can use Learn Grid?
Learn Grid is available to everyone with a Canva account. This includes teachers, parents, tutors, homeschool families, and anyone interested in learning resources.
What's the difference between Ready-to-Teach and AI content?
Ready-to-Teach resources are pre-made templates mapped to curriculum standards. You can generate AI content on demand using tools like Magic Activities. AI-generated content displays an Edit with AI badge.
Do I need to choose a curriculum manually?
No. The curriculum is automatically applied based on your selected country, and you can change it anytime.
What does “mapped to curriculum” mean?
When you search for resources in Learn Grid by selecting your country, grade level, and subject, you'll see a label like "Mapped to Australian Curriculum v9.0" or "Mapped to Common Core State Standards" under the page title.
This tells you which curriculum framework Canva has mapped your search to. It helps show the learning objectives from your curriculum, so you can find resources that match what you're teaching.
Which countries have curriculum-mapped content?
Learn Grid supports curriculum filtering for selected countries. Other supported countries have growing libraries supplemented by AI learning tools. See Curriculum data sources and attributions for the complete list of countries.
How is curriculum data used?
When browsing resources, we display the curriculum standards that apply to your country, grade, and subject combination. This helps you understand the learning objectives your students are working toward and find resources that support those goals. Canva provides curriculum mapping as a guide. It may not reflect local variations or school-specific requirements, so we recommend reviewing materials before use.
When generating with AI, you can create resources using AI by selecting a specific learning objective from your curriculum. The AI uses that objective to shape the content it generates. Because AI-generated content can vary, it’s a good idea to review it to make sure it fits your students and curriculum.
What are your curriculum sources?
We use curriculum standards from authoritative publishers (including government departments, curriculum authorities, and standards organisations).
These include national frameworks like the Australian Curriculum (ACARA), Common Core State Standards (US), Kurikulum Merdeka (Indonesia), as well as state-specific standards for US states including Texas (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skill “TEKS”), Florida (B.E.S.T.), and others.
Additional US curriculum data is sourced from the Common Standards Project, licensed under CC BY 3.0.
