Use the Asana app

Asana app helps you manage tasks and organise projects. With Canva’s integration, you can collaborate with your team on design-related tasks in one place, making project management more efficient.

1. From the homepage, go to Canva app marketplace. If you’re in the editor, select the
   Apps tab and search for “Asana”.
2. Click on Connect to install the app. You’ll be asked to grant permission to access your Asana account.
3. To authorise Canva, click on Allow.

After installing the app, you’ll see My workspace integrated into the Canva editor. From here, you can view all your projects from your Asana app.

1. Click on My workspace, then choose a project to view and access all tasks.
2. Use
   Search from workspace to look for a specific task. Or click the filter icon in the Search bar to find out which tasks have been assigned to you, their status, and the due date.
3. To open a task, click the
   to expand and see all the details. From here, you’ll get a detailed description of the project and see if a task has subsequent sub-tasks.
4. You can also tick the Mark complete checkbox if you’ve completed the task.
5. If you’d like to see any additional custom fields included in a project click on See all fields.

1. From the task detail view, you can create task stories without leaving the context of your Canva design.
2. If a task has an attachment of a compatible image or video format, you can add it straight to your Canva design as an asset.
