Adding borders and rounded corners to elements

Adding a border (also called a stroke) can help highlight important elements, separate them from the background, or bring balance to your design. Use borders to draw attention to images, text, or logos and create a more structured layout.

You can apply borders to most elements, including images, videos, and frames. However, borders are not currently supported on some items, such as:

  • Text boxes
  • Shadows
  • Flipped shapes
  • Some editable shape types

You can also round the corners of your borders to soften the design and match your visual style.

Easily add and edit borders and corners to any image and video.

  1. Select the image, video, frame, or shape you want to edit.
  2. From the editor toolbar, select
    Stroke style.
  3. Choose a Stroke Style from the options.
  4. Drag the stroke weight slider or enter a value to adjust thickness.
  5. To change the Colour, select the Colour tile.
  6. To round the corners, select
Corners, then adjust the Corner rounding using the slider or input field.
