Add 3D elements to your design
3D Elements bring depth and dimension to your Canva designs, making it easy to add interactive 3D objects without specialized software.
You can browse over 10,000 curated 3D elements or create custom 3D objects using AI. Rotate, position, and customize 3D elements directly in your design—no 3D expertise required.

3D element resets when changing slides
What can cause this
This is expected in presentations. When you move to another slide, 3D elements return to the starting position saved in the design.
What to do
Rotate the 3D element to the preferred starting angle in edit mode, then save the design before presenting.
Can’t interact with 3D elements in a presentation
What can cause this
This can happen if the design is not in present mode, the item is a static graphic instead of a real 3D element, or the slide has too many 3D elements. Browser issues can also affect interaction.
What to do
- Make sure the design is in present mode.
- Confirm the item is a real 3D element.
- Reduce the number of 3D elements on the slide if needed.
- Try refreshing the browser, clearing cache, or using a different browser.
3D elements don’t work on a published website
What can cause this
3D changes won’t appear on the live website until the site is republished. In some cases, browser session issues can also affect what appears.
What to do
- Republish the website after adding or editing 3D elements.
- Confirm the 3D element was added correctly in the design.
- Test the site in an incognito or private browser window.
