Create ads with Canva Grow

Create helps you generate high-quality image and video ads using Canva AI.

The Create experience has been rebuilt to make ad generation faster and more flexible. You can provide context using:

A website URL
A description of your business
Product photos
Your own images and assets

Choose between Premium AI and Ultra AI generation options.

After reviewing your information, Canva prepares three ad concepts for you to review before generating your ads.

Once your ads are generated, you can:

Edit them in Canva using Magic Layers
Publish them directly using Launch
Generate new variations

Create ads on Canva Grow

From the homepage, select Grow.
Select
Create ads.
Enter information about your business. You can provide:
1. A website URL
2. A business description
3. Product photos
4. Existing creative assets
Choose whether you'd like to create:
1. Image ads
2. Video avatar ads
Review the generated business and product information.
Select Continue.
Review the ad concepts generated by Canva AI. Canva prepares three concepts for review before generating ads.
Select the concept you'd like to use.
Select Generate ads.
Once your ads are generated, you can:
1. Edit them in Canva using Magic Layers
2. Create additional variations
3. Publish them through Launch

Create a video avatar ad

You can create image ads or AI-generated video avatar ads.

To create a video ad, tell Canva AI that you'd like a video advertisement during the generation process.

Video avatar ads generate a short AI-powered video advertisement and use Ultra AI generation. Because of this, they may consume more AI credits than image ads.

Suggested ads

When you connect an eligible Meta ad account to Canva Grow, Create can recommend new ad concepts based on your account performance.

Suggested ads help you identify what to create next instead of starting from scratch.

Requirements:

A connected Meta ad account
Sufficient account activity
Canva Grow access

Suggested ads are currently available for Meta accounts only. Support for additional advertising platforms will be available in future releases.

You are responsible for ensuring ads created or published using Canva Grow comply with applicable laws and platform policies. All ads remain subject to review by the platform on which they are published.
