Create on-brand images with AI
You can generate new images that match your brand's style by using your Brand Kit photos as a guide. Powered by Dream Lab, this tool helps you create high-quality, on-brand visuals that fit your brand perfectly.

It counts towards your monthly AI allowance. In team workspaces, only owners, administrators, and brand designers can add and create on-brand images.
Create on-brand images with AI
- From the homepage side panel, select Brand.
- Select the Brand Kit tab. If you have multiple Brand Kits, choose the one you’d like to edit.
- Under Assets, hover over the image, then select the More Option icon.
- Select Generate from photo. You'll be asked what you want to create.
- Pick the dimensions that best suit your needs, such as 1:1, 16:9, or 9:16.
- Select Generate and wait while your images are processed. When they're ready, your generated images will appear.
- Review the generated images, select the ones you like, and select Add to Brand Kit.
- Your selected images will be saved to your Brand Kit for future use across designs.
You can make further adjustments to the images to ensure your brand's guidelines.

What are the limitations of creating on-brand images?
- It supports all languages available on Canva, except for users in canva.cn.
- There’s a maximum of 4 images output per use.
- It only takes instructions from the description you entered. The more context and instruction you give, the better your result.
- Only the owner, admin, or brand designer can select any image from their Brand Kit and use it as a style reference to generate more on-brand visuals.
