Change design approval settings

Design approvals help keep your team's or organisation’s designs on-brand by requiring review before publishing.

Features vary by subscription. Canva Teams supports individual reviewers only. Canva Enterprise supports multiple approvers, group reviewers and more advanced approval features.

  1. From the homepage side panel, select
    Brand.
  2. Select the dropdown beside your
    Brand Kit name.
  3. Go to the
    Brand Controls tab.
  4. In the Design approvals section, toggle the switch to turn it on. It turns purple when enabled.

If you’re a team administrator but can’t find the Brand Controls settings, make sure you’re in the right team or brand. Learn how to switch between multiple teams.
