Why consider using the 'Flatten PDF' option when downloading a design?

Flattening a PDF in Canva ensures fonts display accurately and secures your design. This process converts the file into a static image, preventing editing in software like Adobe Acrobat. This helps maintain design integrity when printing or viewing the PDF.

Why does flattening a PDF result in a bigger file size?

Flattening a PDF in Canva merges all design elements into a single image, preserving layout and appearance for sharing or printing. This process can increase file size, especially with high-resolution images or complex designs. The larger size ensures consistent design appearance across devices.
