Use the Sharepoint app


Access all of your company assets in SharePoint by connecting your account to Canva within the app.

Available on desktop app and web browsers only.

Connect the Sharepoint app

  1. Open a Canva design. From the editor side panel, select
    Apps.
  2. Search and select the Sharepoint app.
  3. Select Open, then Connect.
  4. Log in to your Sharepoint account via the prompt that appears.
  5. Allow Canva to access your Sharepoint content.

Your SharePoint admin may need to approve access to the app before you can use it. Send a request in the authentication flow and return once approved to connect your account.

After connecting Sharepoint, access sites and libraries. Navigate by clicking through or using search, filter, and sort options to streamline your search.

Import images from Sharepoint to Canva

  1. Once you've connected your Sharepoint account to Canva, simply select on the site and then the library you want to import from.
  2. To add assets to your design, simply click on them, drag and drop them into the editor, or choose Use in design or Upload to Canva library.

Supported file types for importing assets:

  • HEIC
  • JPG
  • SVG
  • PNG
  • WebP
  • GIF
  • MP4
  • jpeg
  • webm
  • quicktime
  • avi

Upload designs from Canva to Sharepoint

  1. Select
    Share from the menu bar.
  2. Select
    See all.
  3. Search and select the Save design to SharePoint.
  4. Follow the prompt that appears.
