Erase or retouch photos
See any unwanted objects in your photo? You can easily erase or retouch them with our Magic Eraser.

Use Magic Eraser from the Projects tab
- From the homepage, go to Projects, then select All projects.
- Go to Images.
- Hover over the photo you want to edit, then select (More).
- Select Edit image.
- Under Tools, select Magic Eraser.
- Select an option:
- Brush to brush over an object. Customise the brush size by dragging the slider. Note: When you're in this mode, zooming and undoing or redoing brush strokes won't work.
- Click to select any object on the photo. You can select multiple objects by tapping on them.
- Foreground to select the main subject.
- Click Deselect if you want to clear all selections and start again.
- Click Erase and wait for the photo to be processed.
- To reset edits, select Reset Edits.
- To save the changes, select Save. The edited photo will be saved as a separate file in your Images tab and the Uploads folder.
- To download a copy of the edited version to your device, select Download.
You can also do the following in the photo editor:
- Undo and redo photo edits by selecting the Undo and Redo arrows.
- Reset the photo by selecting Reset Edits.
- Compare the edited photo from the original by selecting and holding on Compare.
- Add the edited photo to a design by selecting Create design.
Use Magic Eraser from the editor

- From the editor, click the photo you want to edit. You can also click on photos added to grids and frames.
- From the editor toolbar, click Edit.
- Under Tools, select Magic Eraser.
- Select an option:
- Brush to brush over an object. Customise the brush size by dragging the slider. Note: When you're in this mode, zooming and undoing or redoing brush strokes won't work.
- Click to select any object on the photo. You can select multiple objects by tapping on them.
- Foreground to select the main subject.
- Text to select the text from the image.
- Click Deselect if you want to clear all selections and start again.
- Click Erase and wait for the photo to be processed.
- To reset edits, click Reset Edits.
- To go back to editing your design, click on the back arrow beside Magic Eraser from the side panel.
For best results, try zooming in and moving around the image when editing. Learn more about mouse and trackpad gestures for brush tools.
If the object you want to erase is still there, try erasing a slightly larger area around it.
