Pay using Pix

If you're in Brazil, you can use Pix to pay for your Canva plan or Canva Print orders.

There are two ways to pay with Pix in Canva:

  • Standard Pix for one-time payments, such as:
    • One-time Canva Plans (shorter plans, like daily or weekly)
    • Canva Print orders
  • Pix Automático for recurring subscriptions and free trials

Pay with standard Pix

You can use standard Pix to make one-time payments for prepaid plans and Canva Print orders.

  1. At payment checkout, select Pix.
  2. Enter your details on the pop-up page.
  3. Scan the generated QR code. You will be taken to an external link to confirm payment. (You have 7 minutes to complete the transaction.)
  4. Once the payment process is complete, you’re all set. Your subscription will be activated, or your Canva Print order will begin processing.

Canva charges appear as any of the following on your bank statement:

  • Canva
  • Canva*invoice_id
  • APPLE*Canva
  • GOOGLE*Canva

Subscribe with Pix Automático

Pix Automático lets you pay for recurring subscriptions. If you already have an active subscription, you can also add Pix Automático as a new payment method in your account settings. Learn more in Add or change your payment method.

  1. Go to the subscription page or select Start a free trial.
  2. Select Pix Automático as your payment method.
  3. Scan the QR code, or select Copy Pix code and paste it into your banking app.
  4. Follow the steps in your banking app to approve the mandate.
  5. Once approved, your trial or subscription will begin.

Your bank will send a pre-debit notification 2–10 days before each recurring payment.

What happens after setup

After you approve Pix Automático, payments are processed automatically. Here's what to expect:

  • Billing cycle: Your billing date stays the same each cycle. Each Canva subscription needs its own Pix Automático enrollment.
  • Recurring payment approval: When you subscribe, you authorize Canva to charge your bank account automatically using Pix.

Payment timing: We initiate payments 3 days before your billing date.

Pix Automático doesn’t appear as a payment option

Pix Automático is only available for recurring subscriptions and free trials. It's not available for one-time purchases. You can use standard Pix instead for one-time purchases.

Your recurring payment enrollment was canceled

If you cancel the automatic Pix enrollment in your bank app, future payments won’t go through. To continue using Canva, you’ll need to set up Pix Automático again or add a new payment method.

Your payment failed

Check that you have enough funds in your linked bank account. We’ll retry the payment automatically. If payment continues to fail after 7 days, add a different payment method to keep your subscription active.
