Format numbers as currency, percentages, or dates in Canva Sheets
Make your data easier to read by formatting numbers as currency, percentages, or dates. Canva Sheets also lets you adjust formats to suit your language or region.
Change your number format
Easily update your numerical data to Percentage, Currency, or Date.
- Select the rows, columns, or cells you want to update.
- In the floating toolbar, select 123.
- Choose your preferred format: Number, Percentage, Currency, or Date.
- To delete the added formatting, press Ctrl + Z (for Windows) or Cmd + Z (for Mac) on your keyboard, or select the cell and reapply a different format.
Formatting only changes how data looks, not the actual values.
If you want to apply different formats, select specific cells, rows, or columns and follow the steps above.
Adjust Decimal Places
Control how many decimal places show in your numbers to keep data clean and easy to read—or to show more precise values.
- Select the cells you want to update.
- From the floating toolbar, select the Decimals button next to the number format icon.
- Use the + or – buttons to increase or decrease decimal places.
