My text doesn't display properly on my design
What can cause this
When [x] or ▯ shows up on text that’s added to your design, it means the font you use in your design is not supported by your language setting in Canva.
What to do
- Open the design where the text display error is.
- Select the text box where text is not displaying correctly (may contain "☒" or "▯").
- From the toolbar, select the font dropdown.
- Select See all.
- Scroll down to find the Fonts in your language section. It shows below the Recently used, Brand fonts, and Popular fonts sections.
- Select a font to apply it to the selected text box.
