Expanding images
Extend an image in any direction. Magic Expand lets you fix awkward framing, save zoomed-in images, or turn a vertical shot into a horizontal one. In seconds, you can recover whatever's just outside the frame, like more of the landscape, and get the perfect shot for your design.

- Select the photo you want to edit.
- From the editor toolbar, select Edit.
- Go to Tools, then select See All.
- Select Magic Expand.
- Choose a size or drag any crop handle to expand the image beyond the border.
- Select Expand and wait for your image to be processed.
You can only download your expanded image as a separate file if you download it as part of a design. Images with faces, hands, or transparent backgrounds may not work well when expanding.
