Schedule posts on Facebook, Pinterest, and more

You can plan and schedule your Canva designs to social media directly from Content Planner or the editor.

Supported apps, permissions, sharing options, and publishing experiences may change over time as Canva and third-party platforms update their integrations.

To view the latest available options, open your design in the editor and select Share from the top-right corner.

Things to know

  • Scheduling posts is available to Canva Pro, Canva Business, Canva Education, and Canva for Nonprofits administrators and brand designers.
  • For Canva Education, publishing is off by default. Ask your admin to enable it.
  • Each design can only be scheduled to one social media platform at a time.
  • Publishing to Content Planner isn't available in multi-design documents yet. To work around this, copy the page into a new, single-design document. Learn more about multi-designs.
  • Scheduling posts to Instagram must be done from a desktop browser.
  • On mobile, you can view Content Planner, but you'll need to schedule posts from the editor. See Schedule posts from the Canva editor below.

Supported social media platforms

To see the latest supported platforms available to your account, open your design in the editor and select Share from the top-right corner.

You can schedule posts to the following platforms, with more on the way:

Manage multiple social media accounts

You can connect multiple accounts to Canva when scheduling posts.

  • Canva Pro, Canva Business, and Enterprise: Each user can connect up to 80 social media accounts per team. This includes any mix of Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, LinkedIn Pages, and more.
  • Free users: You can link one account at a time per platform.

Here’s how to add a social media account:

  1. On the schedule window, select
    Select a channel.
  2. Choose the platform that you want to add.
  3. Log in to the account that you want to use to connect it.

Can’t connect your social media account? See Social media connection issues for things to try.

Control who can view or publish to connected accounts

When you connect a social media account, you can set who can see or publish to it:

  • Private: Only you can see and schedule posts to this account.
  • Team-viewable: Other team members can see what's been published.
  • Team-publishable: Other team members can also publish to this account.

How Content Planner works for teams

Each team member has their own Content Planner view. If a social media account is set to Team-viewable or Team-publishable, any scheduled or published posts will appear in the Content Planner of all users who have access to that account.

See Sharing and unsharing my Content Planner for more details.
