Send your Canva-designed email via Mailchimp

You can publish your Canva email designs directly to Mailchimp. This makes your email marketing workflow faster and easier. Send professional emails to your audience without switching between apps or editing code.

Before you start

  • You need a Mailchimp account to use this feature.

Send your email design to Mailchimp

  1. Open your email design in the editor.
  2. Select Share from the editor menu.
  3. Select Mailchimp from the Messaging options.
  4. Sign in to your Mailchimp account if prompted.
  5. Choose the page you want to publish. (For email pages, the file type will be preselected as Email (HTML), and only one email page can be selected and published.
  6. Select Publish now.

What’s new

Previously, the Mailchimp integration redirected you to Mailchimp's website. Now you can publish directly from Canva without leaving the editor. Your email design transfers with formatting and images intact.

Limitations

  • Design types: This integration supports 'email doctype' pages, users can publish as 'Email (HTML)' format; for static graphics created in other doctypes such as social media, 'Image' format will be available.
  • File size / pages: You can publish up to one page at a time, and designs must be under 100KB.
  • Regional availability: This feature is available in all regions except China.
