Add and remove Brand Kits to a folder
Add a Brand Kit to a folder to allow everyone working across the same project to keep designs on-brand. Everyone who has access to the folder can use the Brand Kit. Make sure to set up Brand Kits first before proceeding.
Who can use this feature?
This feature is available to Canva Pro, Canva Teams, Canva Business, Canva Education, and Canva for Nonprofits.
For teams, administrators, members, and brand designers can add a Brand Kit to a folder they have edit access to.
Add a Brand Kit to a folder from Brand
- From the homepage side panel, go to Brand.
- Under Brand Kits, Select the Brand Kit you want to use.
- Click (more icon).
- Select Add Brand Kit to a folder.
- Choose the folder you’d like to add the Brand Kit to, then click Add to a folder.
- If you’d like to add the Brand Kit to a new folder, click New folder. Type in the folder name and select Move to new folder.
Add a Brand Kit to a folder
- From the homepage side panel, select Projects.
- Select the Folders tab and choose the folder where you want to add your Brand Kit.
- On the upper corner, select the Add new.
- Select Brand Kit.
- Depending on your access, you can Add existing Brand Kit or Create new Brand Kit.
All designs created in the folder will follow the Brand Kit added by default.
Remove a Brand Kit from a folder
- From the homepage side panel, select Brand.
- Select the Brand Kit.
- Select the (more icon) on the Brand Kit you want to delete from a folder.
- Select Add Brand Kit to folder and select Remove.
Can I add a Brand Kit to more than one folder?
Yes, you can add a Brand Kit to as many folders as you want.
Who can use the Brand Kit added in the folder?
People who have edit access to these folders can view your Brand Kit and use it in their designs. When you remove someone from the folder, they immediately lose access to the Brand Kit.
Who can edit Brand Kits?
Only administrators and brand designers who have access to the folder can edit the Brand Kit.
