Set up your retractable banner

Retractable banners are a worthwhile investment for making a professional impression at events or in your business space. Keep yours in top condition by assembling and storing it properly.

Every retractable banner order comes with the following accessories:

• Base: Holds the retracted banner and provides stability.
• Support pole: Telescopic pole that holds the banner upright.
• Clamp top bar: Attaches the top of the banner to the pole.
• Carrying case: Protects the banner and its accessories during storage and transport.

Once you’ve unpacked your order and ensured that it’s complete, it’s time for assembly. Retractable banners are prone to damage if pulled too tightly or quickly. Follow the instructions below carefully to prevent damage.

1. Extend the telescopic pole. Open and close the clips to adjust the height of the pole.
2. Insert the pole in the centre of the base.
3. Stand behind the stand and pull up the banner to the top of the pole. You may place one foot on the banner’s base to keep it stable.
4. Grasp the top of the banner and pull it up smoothly. Once the banner is fully extended, tilt the clamp top bar at a slight angle and attach the other end of the pole.
5. Adjust the pole or base for optimal stability.

1. Tilt the clamp top bar back on a slight angle and detach it from the top pole.
2. While still holding the bar, slowly allow the banner to retract straight into the base. Avoid letting it snap back to prevent damage.
3. Collapse the pole.
4. If the banner needs to be cleaned, use a feather duster or a soft, lint-free cloth. For tough stains, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Ensure it’s completely dry before retracting to prevent mold or mildew.
5. Put the banner and all accessories into the carrying case. Keep it in a cool, dry place to protect the banner and the retracting mechanism.
