Create multiple designs faster with Bulk Create and Data Autofill

Need to make lots of designs from existing data? Canva’s Bulk Create and Data Autofill features can help you do just that—quickly and efficiently.

Here’s how they work and when to use each one:

Bulk Create: Turn spreadsheets into designs

Use Bulk Create to generate multiple designs at once. You can import data from a spreadsheet or a supported data app, and Canva will automatically fill in the text and images for each design.

Best for:

Creating ready-to-share designs, like social posts, name tags, or ads.

Limitations:

  • Supports up to 300 rows and 150 columns
  • Only one media item per cell is supported

Data Autofill: Connect real-time data to one design

Data Autofill lets you connect a third-party data source via API. Canva will automatically fill a single brand template with live data.

Best for: Personalized designs like invitations, certificates, or account-based pitch decks.

Limitations:

  • Supports up to 150 data fields
