Change the name of free Canva domains

If there are changes in your brand, you can update your free Canva public domain in your Settings.

Canva websites are available to Canva Free, Canva Pro, Canva Teams, and Canva Education users.

Only a team admin can change the domain name in Canva Teams and Canva Education. Team members and Designers don’t have permission to make this change.

We're rolling out navigation changes gradually, so some steps in this Help article may not accurately reflect what you see in the app. If you can't find Canva AI, your profile photo, or your Print cart on the homepage, go to

More.

Change the name of free Canva domains

  1. On the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu.
  2. Go to
    Settings.
  3. Choose
    Web domains.
  4. Select Domain managed by Canva.
  5. To change the name of your domain, select Edit.
  6. When you’re done, select Save. All designs published will be transferred to the updated domain. Also, your website may go offline for a few minutes while we transfer your designs to the new domain.
  7. Make sure to check the new link for any misspelt words. If you need to edit, select Cancel. If all looks good, select Confirm.

After confirming, refresh the page to ensure all designs are transferred to the new domain.
