Using ChatGPT to Create Designs and Search Content

You can now connect Canva to your ChatGPT account and use your imagination to describe the Canva design you want to generate.

You can create, edit, and preview designs directly in ChatGPT through the Canva App.

1. Go to Settings, then select Apps & connectors.
2. Select Canva, then approve the requested permissions to connect your account. Go to
   in the main chatbox, select
   and then enable ‘Canva’
3. In the main chat box, describe what you’d like to design and prompt you want to create it in Canva, including the details like style or theme.
4. ChatGPT shows you a selection of designs. Select one to open and start editing in Canva.

• Paid Canva features such as Magic Resize or Brand Kit aren’t yet available in ChatGPT. Open your design in Canva to use these features.
• Exporting designs and applying brand settings are only available in Canva.
• ChatGPT API rate limits may temporarily affect how many design requests you can make. For example, when generating or translating designs repeatedly.
