Complete assignments on Canva

When teachers share an assignment in Canva, students can easily complete and submit it within Canva. We’ve made it easier to stay on top of your classwork. Use the new Classroom tab as your go-to place to view, complete, submit, and review assignments.

View your assignments

  • Your Canva homepage menu under
    Classroom tab
  • Your teacher might share a link or a code directly in Google Classroom, MS Teams, email, or chat. You may also receive an email notification.
  • You’ll get a notification via the
bell icon on your Canva homepage.

If shared via code

  1. Go to the assignment join page. If you don’t have an account yet, we’ll ask you to create one.
  2. Enter the assignment code in the field, then select Submit.
    • Note: The code expires in 4 hours. If it's expired, ask your teacher for a new code.
