Customizing your Canva navigation
You can now personalize the navigation in your Canva homepage side panel on desktop and Android tablets.
This update gives you more control over what you see in the side panel. It helps you access your most frequently used tools faster.
With the new More tab option, it tucks extra items away neatly. It is especially helpful on smaller screens.
You can’t move or unpin the Home tab.
Choose which tabs appear in the homepage side panel.
- Unpinned items move to More.
- Arrange pinned tab navigation by dragging it to the preferred order.
- Go to your primary navigation in the side panel of the homepage.
- Select More to find and select the tab you want to add to your main navigation.
- To remove a tab from your primary navigation, hover over and select the Unpin icon that appears.
- To arrange the order of your pinned tabs, drag to reorder the list.
- Release to drop it in place. Changes save automatically.
The “More” tab will show if:
- You’re using a smaller screen (e.g., tablet or small desktop window)
- You’ve unpinned some navigation items
- Your account has access to more features than can fit in the side panel
