Getting a Canva Design School accreditation or certificate
Get accreditation by taking a Design School course and taking a short test at the end. You’ll be awarded a certificate after the test, and you can share those certificates on social media or on your LinkedIn profile.
All Canva users can get accreditation. To do so:
- Select a Design School course. Please note that not all courses have accreditation available at the moment.
- Check if the course has a Get certified section, below Lessons. If so, it means accreditation is available for that course.
- Take the lessons and complete the test at the end of the course. Once finished, the award page will show the details of the certification you earned.
- Select Add to profile at the bottom of the accreditation page to add your certification to your LinkedIn profile.
- Select Share on social to share the certification to any social media.
You’ll also receive an email that contains an image and a message, along with a link to the certificate.
Please note that the email won’t contain attachments or downloadable versions of the certificate. However, you can download a badge or PDF version of your certification directly from the course completion page.
You may encounter the following issues with the PDF version of your certificate:
- If you’re using one of the following languages, the name on the PDF certificate may not appear correctly: Arabic, Assamese, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Burmese, Gujarati, Kannada, Khmer, Maithili, Malayalam, Punjabi, Sindhi, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu, or Urdu.
- If your name is missing or incomplete, go to Settings > Your Account and ensure the Language is appropriate for your preferred name. If your name has a form that can be written in a Western character set, you can also consider using that in your profile.
- Our exported PDFs currently have some accessibility issues, which might make them harder for people relying on assistive technologies to navigate. We've committed to resolving this by June 2025.
