Make sure your organization receives Canva emails

If your organization uses strict email security tools, Canva emails can be blocked before they reach users' inboxes. This is most common in larger organizations (including schools and government agencies).

To prevent delivery issues, ask your information technology (IT) admin to allowlist Canva’s official sender email addresses and Internet Protocol (IP) address ranges listed in this article.

Allowlisting means adding Canva to your approved sender list so emails aren’t filtered or quarantined.

This helps your organization reliably receive:

  • Login verification codes
  • Password reset emails
  • Billing updates
  • Design share notifications

Prepare for Canva email allowlisting

Confirm IT admin access

An IT admin who can manage your organization’s email security and filtering tools needs to make these changes.

If you’re not an IT admin, share this article with your IT admin so they can review your organization’s email setup.

Know when to set up allowlisting

Set up allowlisting:

  • When your organization first sets up Canva
  • Before rolling out Canva across your organization
  • When users report missing login verification codes or password reset emails
  • When design share notifications aren’t arriving

Setting this up early can reduce support requests and delays when people start using Canva.

Allow Canva sender email addresses

Ask your IT admin to allow these sender addresses.

Used for login verification codes, password resets, and billing notifications:

  • no-reply@account.canva.com

Allow general notification and design share emails

Used for non-critical notifications such as design share notifications:

  • no-reply@canva.com

These are Canva’s official sender addresses for account and notification emails.

Allow Canva sender IP address ranges (if your organization filters by IP)

Some organizations filter email based on the sending server’s IP address. If yours does, ask your IT admin to allow the following IP address ranges.

  • 23.249.221.12
  • 23.249.221.202
  • 54.240.68.116
  • 54.240.68.117
  • 54.240.68.118
  • 54.240.68.119
  • 54.240.68.120
  • 54.240.68.121
  • 54.240.68.122
  • 54.240.68.123

Allow IPs for non-critical emails

  • 54.240.76.81
  • 54.240.76.82
  • 54.240.76.83
  • 54.240.76.84
  • 54.240.76.85
  • 54.240.76.86
  • 54.240.76.87
  • 54.240.76.88
  • 54.240.76.89
  • 54.240.76.90
  • 54.240.76.91
  • 54.240.76.92
  • 54.240.76.93
  • 54.240.76.94
  • 54.240.76.95
  • 54.240.76.96
  • 54.240.76.97
  • 54.240.76.98
  • 54.240.76.99
  • 54.240.76.100

Allowlisting Canva emails using SPF and DKIM authentication

If your IT admin uses policy-based allowlisting, you can configure your mail gateway to trust emails that pass SPF and DKIM authentication from Canva.

Canva sends:

  • Account-related emails from account.canva.com
  • General notifications from canva.com

If your mail security tools support this approach, configure them to allow delivery of any emails that pass BOTH SPF and DKIM validation for these domains.

This approach is more reliable than IP-based allowlisting because it continues to work even if Canva’s sending IP addresses change.

What can cause this

Your organization may be filtering or blocking Canva emails through spam filtering, quarantine tools, or network-level email security (tools that block emails before they reach inboxes).

What to do

Ask your IT team to:

  • Check email quarantine and spam filtering tools.
  • Allowlist Canva’s official sender email addresses.
  • Allowlist the Canva IP addresses.

If your organization uses advanced email security tools, filtering may happen before emails reach inboxes. Your IT team may need to review network-level email rules.

Some users receive emails, but others don’t

What can cause this

Email filtering rules may differ by department, group, or domain. In some cases, a mail gateway (the system that routes and filters inbound email) may block certain IP addresses.

What to do

Ask your IT admin to:

  • Review email security policies applied at the group or domain level.
  • Confirm filtering rules are consistent across departments.
  • Check whether any mail gateways are blocking Canva IP ranges.

Tip: Share this article with your IT admin so they can confirm the organization-wide email setup is consistent.
