Format cells with Conditional Formatting in Canva Sheets

Use Conditional Formatting in Canva Sheets to automatically format cells based on their data. You can create rules for cells containing text, numbers, or dates.

1. Open your Canva Sheet.
2. Select a range of cells containing text, numbers, or dates.
3. From the editor toolbar, select
   Actions, then select Conditional Formatting.
4. Select Rule or Add new rule.
5. Select Apply rule.

Colour scale rules work with cells containing numbers or dates. They aren't supported for text-based data.If you can't apply a colour scale rule, check that the selected cells contain numbers or dates.

You can edit, duplicate, or delete existing conditional formatting rules.

1. Open Conditional Formatting.
2. Select Manage Rules.
3. Find the rule you want to manage.
4. Edit,
   Duplicate, or
   Delete the rule as needed.

Duplicating a rule can give you a starting point when you want to create a similar rule.
