Pay with Yape

You can make one-time payments in Canva using Yape if you're in Peru. This includes premium elements, print products, and other single purchases. If you're purchasing an eligible Canva subscription, you can also use Yape to set up automatic recurring payments for Canva Pro or Canva Business after a one-time authorisation in the Yape app.

• Yape is available for users in Peru.
• You can use Yape for one-time payments, like premium elements and print products.
• Use Yape for eligible Canva Pro and Canva Business subscriptions (monthly and yearly) during rollout.
• Yape is available for free trial sign-ups when used for subscriptions. For one-time purchases, Yape doesn't appear for free trials. Make sure your account location is set to Peru.
• Yape subscription payments require a one-time authorisation in the Yape app. Future renewals are charged automatically.
• For one-time purchases, you can select Yape at checkout whenever you want to pay with it. One-time Yape payments aren't saved as a payment method.
• For Yape subscription payments, Yape becomes your saved payment method once you authorise the recurring mandate in the Yape app.

You'll see Yape for one-time payments in Peru, for both one-time purchases and eligible subscriptions.

Yape for subscriptions is available for eligible Canva plans during rollout. If you don't see Yape for subscriptions:

• Make sure you're purchasing an eligible subscription.
• Make sure your account is in Peru.
• The feature may not yet be available for your account while rollout continues.

Yape is available for eligible Canva Pro and Canva Business subscription payments in Peru during rollout. When you select Yape during checkout for a subscription, you'll authorise a recurring mandate in the Yape app.

If you don't see Yape for subscriptions yet, it may not be available for your account while rollout continues.

• Approve payment in the Yape app.
• Check available funds and that your Yape account is active.
• Retry payment.

• Check your recurring mandate in the Yape app.
• Verify sufficient funds and that your Yape account is active.
• If you dismissed or rejected the enrolment request in the Yape app, wait for it to expire before trying again. This usually takes about 15 minutes.
• If the payment still fails, add another payment method to avoid interruption to your subscription.

A one-time authorization in the Yape app that allows Canva to automatically charge your Yape account for future subscription renewals. You only need to authorize it once. Only one active Yape enrolment is allowed per account at a time.

Yes. If it's available for your account, you can switch your payment method at any time. Your current subscription continues until the end of your billing period, and Yape is used for future renewals.

If you cancel your Canva subscription, your Yape payment method remains saved and can be reused for future subscriptions.

If you cancel the Yape mandate in the Yape app, that payment method can no longer be used for future subscription renewals. Your subscription enters a grace period at the next renewal unless you add another payment method.

You cannot remove Yape while you have an active subscription using it. After you cancel your subscription, you can remove it at any time, either immediately after cancellation or after your subscription fully ends.

No. Your saved Yape enrolment is for subscription payments only and won't appear as a payment option for one-time purchases. Use regular Yape at checkout for premium elements, print products, and other one-time purchases.

Yape for subscriptions is rolling out gradually in Peru. Make sure you're purchasing an eligible subscription and that your account is eligible for the rollout.
