Profile settings
Customise your Canva profile by editing your account name, what you use Canva for, and profile photo.

Go to your account profile, then open Settings to change your profile settings.
Edit account name and purpose for using Canva
We're rolling out navigation changes gradually, so some steps in this Help article may not accurately reflect what you see in the app. If you can't find Canva AI, your profile photo, or your Print cart on the homepage, go to More.
Edit account name and purpose for using Canva
- Go to your account profile, then click Your account.
- Select Your profile.
- Select Edit next to your name and enter a new one.
- Select Save.
- To change what you'll be using Canva for, select the What will you be using Canva for? dropdown and choose an option. Your changes save automatically.
To display your account name in Canva email notifications (when inviting team members, sharing a design, etc.), use letters only and avoid numeric and special characters.
Upload or change Profile Photo
Note: If you're part of an Education team, you won’t be able to change your profile photo. This applies to all roles in the Education brand, even if you're also part of other teams (like a personal team).
Upload a profile photo
- Go to your account profile, then click Your account.
- Select Your profile.
- From the Your account tab, hover over your initial or current photo. Click the (camera icon) or choose Change photo to upload or update it.
- Choose an image from your device.
- Wait for the upload to finish. Your profile photo updates automatically.
