Integrate Rovo AI to generate Canva templates in your Atlassian workspace
If you’re using Atlassian products like Jira or Confluence, you can now generate Canva templates with the Rovo AI Agents: Canva for Jira or Canva for Confluence plugins.
Your Atlassian team will need to have Atlassian Rovo enabled to utilize the Canva plugin.
Step 1: Install Rovo AI plugins
- Login to your Atlassian workspace account, either on Jira or Confluence.
- Install Canva for Jira or Canva for Confluence plugin to your workspace. If you’re not an admin, simply request your Atlassian workspace admin to install the plugin for you.
Once you’re done installing the plugins, navigate the Canva Rovo Agent.
Using Canva for Jira
- Click Chat at the top corner of the screen.
- Click Browse Agents.
- Search and select Canva for Jira
Using Canva for Confluence
- Type /ai to invoke the ROVO command.
- Click Browse Agents.
- Search and select Canva for Confluence.
Step 3: Describe your design task
Describe the design task you need help with, including the style you're after. Include specifics, such as:
- The type of design (roadmap, whiteboard, poster, etc.)
- The style you’re aiming for (modern, professional, playful, etc.)
Make your design task descriptions concise, with a maximum of 140 characters.
The more detailed your description, the better the AI can suggest relevant templates or create a custom design tailored to your needs.
After describing your design, the Canva for Atlassian plugins will suggest templates or generate custom designs that suit your request. Once you select a template, you’ll be redirected to Canva, where you can further customise, share, or download the design.
