Set up on-brand chart styles
Customise charts while staying within brand guidelines. Ensure all visuals match your brand’s colours.
Who can add Chart styles to a Brand Kit?
Adding Chart styles to a Brand Kit is available to these roles with Brand Kit editing access:
- Canva Pro: Owner
- Canva Teams: Brand Designer, Administrator
- Canva Enterprise: Brand Designer, Administrator, Organization Brand Designer, Organization Administrator
- Canva Education: Owners, Team Admins, Admins, Organization admins, Organization brand designers
Step 1: Add Chart styles to Brand Kit
For now, only brand colours can be set up for charts in the Brand Kit.
Step 1: Add Chart styles to Brand Kit
- From the homepage, select Brand from the side panel.
- Open an existing Brand Kit or create a new one.
- Select Brand Kit, then scroll to the Charts section.
- Click Add New under Colours to set a custom color palette.

- Open a design and add a chart.
- Select Apps or Elements, then Charts.
- Go to the Brand tab in the Object Panel.
- Select a Brand Kit with Chart styles to generate a chart with on-brand colours. You can still adjust individual colours using the floating toolbar.
