Beat Sync uses AI technology to find the beats in a song. It then converts the beats into snap points on the audio track that can sync pages and other elements to the music. When "Beat Sync" is on, all pages and elements in the design will sync perfectly to the beat of your music.

1. Create or open an existing video, presentation or social media design type.
2. Add a video and an audio of your choice.
3. Select the audio pill at the bottom of the editor.
4. Select Beat Sync on the floating toolbar.

• Display beat markers: This will show in the audio pill when the audio will snap in the timeline.
• Sync now: This will automatically sync your audio to your elements and your pages.

Beat Sync trims the duration of the page to the first beat in the nearest bar.

• It has a 10 minutes or less in duration audio track limit.
• It is only available on Presentations, Social Media & Video doctypes.

Where can I use Beat Sync?

Beat Sync is available for presentations, social media, and video designs. It's not available for Docs, Whiteboards, or Websites.

How does Beat Sync work?

Beat Sync uses AI to detect beats in your music and creates snap points on the audio track. You can use these to manually sync pages and elements to the music, or turn on Beat Sync to automatically sync everything in your design.

What beat does it sync to?

Beat Sync trims the duration of your page to the first beat in the nearest bar. We're working on updates that will let you sync to different beats for more editing options.

What happens if my design content is too short?

• If the duration is less than 1 bar, Beat Sync rounds down to the first beat of the nearest bar.
• If the duration is more than 1 bar, Beat Sync rounds down to the nearest beat.

How does Beat Sync affect transitions, animations, and elements?

• Transitions: Start and end on the nearest beat.
• Animations: Start and end on the nearest beat.
• Elements: Sync along with your design. If you've already edited an element's timing, it syncs to the nearest beat.

What are beat markers?

Beat markers are white handles that highlight the beats detected by Beat Sync.
