Connect Canva to Canvas (for school administrators)
After you get Canva Education for your school, you can connect it to Canvas so teachers and students can create and submit Canva designs directly from their courses. This guide covers how to set up LTI 1.3 or LTI 1.1 integration.

If you haven’t done this yet, see Connecting Canva to LMS.
Confirm you're in the correct Canva team
Before setting up the LMS integration, make sure you’re in the right team first.
- For single schools or districts, Canva teams, check if you’re in the school or district team.
- For multi-school deployments, an organisation admin configures the LMS at the organisation level.

Enable Canvas integration (LTI 1.1)
LTI 1.1 was deprecated. For better security and support, we recommend using the LTI 1.3 integration instead.
1. Sign in to your Canvas account.
2. Click Admin on the left side.
3. From the sidebar, click Settings, and select the Apps tab.
4. Look for Canva Education, and click Add App.
5. Copy and paste your Consumer key and Shared secret on the form from when you enabled LMS integration in your account.
6. Click Add App to finish.
We recommend that you don’t make any changes to the Placement settings or the configuration of the Canva app after you install it. Just add the Consumer key and the Shared secret.
