Design Activity Report

The Design activity report gives you insights into designs shared with the team or publicly using “Anyone with the link”. Use it to spot content trends, monitor brand compliance, and understand which designs are most popular among your team.

This feature is only available to Canva for Enterprise teams.

• Only org admins can enable the feature.
• Once enabled, org admins and team admins can view the report.

Before you can view design activity, an org admin needs to turn on the feature.

1. From your Canva homepage, select your account profile to open the menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Under Security, select Data and privacy.
4. Under Content access, turn on Allow access to design activity report.

The feature is now enabled. Keep in mind that only designs created after this point will appear in the report.

2. Under Reporting, select Design activity.
3. At the top of the report, you'll see:

• Designs created - Total designs created in your team over the last 12 months (includes all designs, including designs that haven’t been shared with anyone).
• Designs published - Total designs published in your team over the last 12 months (includes all designs, including designs that haven’t been shared with anyone).

4. Below the summary, you’ll see a list of designs that have been shared with your team or using Anyone with the link.

• Design - Thumbnail and name
• Owner - Team member who created it
• Created - Creation date
• Views - Total views (includes editor, preview, and embed views)
• Published - Total times published (includes downloads, presentations, embeds, websites, prints, and social media)
• Shared with - Shows whether the design is shared with your team or publicly via "Anyone with link".

The report doesn’t include private designs (shared with specific people only or not shared at all).

To review specific designs, use the filter and search options:

1. Select the filter icon above the table.
2. Filter by:
   • Owner - Choose a specific team member
   • Created - Select a date range (12 months, 6 months, 3 months, or custom)

Select a design from the list to view it in preview mode.

If you can’t find the Design activity report in Settings, check the following:

• Check that you’re signed in as an org admin or team admin. Only users with the right role and permissions can view the report.
• Confirm your team is on a Canva for Enterprise plan
• Confirm with your Org Admin if the feature is turned on under the Data and privacy page in Settings

This can happen for a few reasons:

• The feature was recently enabled. Only designs created after enabling will appear.
• Designs are private. The report only shows designs shared with your team or via "Anyone with link." Private designs (not shared with anyone or shared with specific people only) won't appear.
