Not receiving emails with login, sign up, or verification codes?

Not getting your verification code?

Try these before reaching out:

  1. Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder — search for "Your Canva code".
  2. Request a new code — they expire after 10 minutes. Hit Resend code and wait a few minutes for it to arrive.
    • Tip: Wait at least 5–10 minutes before requesting another code. Sending too many requests in a row can slow down delivery.
  3. Check your email address — make sure it matches the one on your Canva account.
  4. Add Canva to your safe senders list — add no-reply@canva.com and no-reply@account.canva.com to your contacts.

Using a work or school email? Your IT team may be blocking Canva emails at the server level. Ask them to allowlist the addresses above.

Still can't receive a code to log in?

Quick tip

Use our account recovery form to request access to your account.

Can't access your email at all?

If you no longer have access to the email on your Canva account, for example, because:

  • Your school or employer changed your email domain
  • Your organisation deactivated your institutional email address
  • You've lost access to the inbox entirely

You won't be able to receive verification codes through the standard flow. In this case, you'll need to contact Canva support directly.

When you reach out, please include:

  • Your old email address (the one on your account)
  • Your new email address (where you can receive messages now)
  • Any designs, projects, or brand details that help verify your identity (e.g., design names, team name, billing history)

Our team will verify your identity and help update your account email so you can regain access.

Note: For security reasons, we're unable to update account email addresses without identity verification. The more detail you can provide, the faster we can help.
