Present offline
Present your Canva designs without an internet connection by making them available offline in advance.
Prepare your presentation for offline use
- Make sure your presentation is available offline while you're online.
- Offline presentations are only available on the device where you enabled them.
- You can present offline on mobile web (Safari or Chrome), but not in the Canva mobile app.
Make your presentation available offline
- Open your presentation.
- Select (Cloud), then select Make available offline.
- Wait until setup is complete.
Present your design offline
- Turn off your internet connection.
- Go to Projects, then select Available offline.
- Open your presentation.
- Select Present.
Understand what works offline
- You can present slides, use presenter view, and speaker notes.
- Magic shortcuts are available.
- Timer is available (without music).
- Embedded content (such as YouTube videos, Spotify links, and Canva designs) won’t work offline.
- These elements appear as placeholders and load once you reconnect.
Turn off offline presentation
- From the homepage, hover over the design that you want to disable for offline presentation.
- Click the More icon.
- Select Turn off offline presenting.
Set up offline design permissions
Canva Enterprise, Canva for Districts, and Canva for Campus administrators can set the permission for offline presenting. By default, the feature is set to Everyone.
To change offline design permissions:
- From the homepage, go to Settings.
- Select the Permissions tab.
- From the Offline section > Who can use offline designs, select Admins only or Everyone.
Keep Everyone selected if you want everyone on your team to use offline presentations.
