Refunds for Canva subscriptions

In most cases, Canva subscriptions aren’t refundable, as outlined in our Terms of Use. This helps us keep Canva accessible and affordable while we continue developing new features and improvements.

That said, we review every refund request. We sometimes help depending on the situation.

Why your refund request may have been declined

We review each refund request carefully. While we’d like to help with every request, refunds usually aren’t possible.

If your request wasn’t approved, it’s because it’s deemed ineligible after our careful review.

How long do refunds take

If your refund is approved, processing times depend on your bank or payment provider:

  • Credit cards: 5–10 business days
  • PayPal: 3–5 business days
  • Other payment methods: Up to 20 business days
  • eBanx: Up to 30 business days (you may need to follow steps sent to you by email)
  • Installment payments (Brazil): Processing time may vary. Learn more about refunds for installments.

Subscriptions through the Apple App Store

If you subscribed to Canva through Apple, you’ll need to request a refund directly from Apple. They handle all billing and refunds for App Store subscriptions, so we’re not able to process those for you.

Cancel your subscription

To stop future charges, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You’ll still have access to premium features until your current billing period ends.
