Transform your designs into a doc
As part of Resize, you can instantly transform any design into a Canva doc in the following formats: Summary, Blog Post, Song lyrics, Email, Poem, All Text, and Custom.
If you’re designing on a partner site via the Canva Button, this feature won’t be available.
Resize is only available on these plans: Canva Pro, Canva Teams, Canva Education, and Canva for Nonprofits.
- From the top menu, select Resize.
- Select Transform into Doc.
- Select More, then choose a format: Executive summary, Creative blog post, Presentation outline, Content marketing ideas, LinkedIn post, Marketing video script, Detailed project plan, Professional email memo, All text, Poem, or Song lyrics.
- Select Transform into Doc.
- Select Open Doc.
A copy of the transformed design will open in a new tab. We’ll keep your original design.
Resize and transform into a doc
To resize and transform into a doc, select Resize. Then, choose Transform into doc and also the design type/s you’d like to resize to.
You can only transform into doc one at a time. On the other hand, you can resize to multiple design types.
The designs will automatically be saved in a single folder. You’ll see the folder name on the confirmation message after successfully resizing.
