Import from and save to Google Drive in Canva
Access all of your images and videos in Google Drive by connecting your Google account to Canva.
If you’ve previously connected Google Drive to Canva, you’ll see a message asking you to sign in to Google Drive again as we’re rolling out a new version of this app.
Access the Google Drive app
- Create or open an existing design.
- From the editor side panel, select Apps.
- Scroll to File and data management, then select Google Drive.
- Tip: You can also search for Google Drive using the Apps search bar.
- Click Open and then Connect, then follow the prompts to allow Canva to access your Google Drive account. After you connect, you’ll see all supported files, like images and videos.
- Browse your Google Drive assets by using the search and filter options available via the search bar.
- Drag and drop the file you want to use into your design.
- When your design is complete, upload it to Google Drive via the Save your design to Google Drive button. You may see options to choose the file size and type.
