Is my Canva plan legitimate?
Here’s what you need to know about legitimate Canva Plans and what to do if you've purchased from an unauthorised reseller.
What’s considered an official Canva plan?
- Purchased through the official Canva websites, apps, and authorized sellers. Any other apps or websites that you can find on the App Store, Google Play Store, or other sources are not official Canva apps. Your Canva login credentials and plan won't work on these apps. Here are the links to the official Canva website and apps.
- Promotions and offers announced on our official social media accounts, emails, or newsletters. Canva doesn’t offer lifetime plans, any similar offer from an individual for a minimal price is not legitimate. Here are links to our official global social media accounts:
- Canva Education plan granted by Canva through your application, or if you are a student added to Canva by your teacher.
I think I purchased a Canva plan from an unauthorised reseller, what happens next?
Purchases made through unauthorised third-party sellers or unofficial channels go against our Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy. Please note that plans purchased in this way may lead to account downgrade, suspension, and/ or termination, which may include the loss of the designs created.
If you think you’ve purchased from an unauthorised reseller, secure your designs by following these steps:
- Copy your designs from the team to your personal account, and delete these designs from the team. Learn more about copying designs or files to another team or account.
- Once you’ve transferred your designs, leave the team.
- Report the reseller through Help Assistant.
Am I eligible for a refund?
We’re unable to provide refunds for purchases made through unauthorised sellers. This is in accordance with the Limitation of Liability section of our Terms of Use.
