Publish Canva-designed email via Constant Contact
You can now connect Canva directly to Constant Contact to send your Canva email designs without downloading files, uploading manually, or editing HTML. Your design is ready to use in your email campaign.
Publish email design via Constant Contact
Before you start
- You must have a Constant Contact account.
- Make sure you’re logged in to the correct Canva account.
- You may be asked to authorize Canva to access your Constant Contact account.
- Open your email design in the editor.
- Select Share from the top menu.
- Select See all, then choose Constant Contact from the Messaging options.
- Sign in to your Constant Contact account if prompted.
- Choose the pages you want to publish.
- Select a Constant Contact campaign to upload to, or create a new one.
- Select Publish now.
Your email design will appear in Constant Contact, ready to send or add to a campaign.
Limitations
- Constant Contact integration supports email doctype pages. You can publish these in Email (HTML) format. For static graphics created in other doctypes, like social media, you can publish them in Image format.
- Maximum page number: 1 page
- Maximum file size: 6MB
- Not available in China
My email design doesn’t appear in Constant Contact
What can cause this
You may be signed in to a different Constant Contact account, or the connection may not have completed properly.
What to do
- Go to Share in your email design.
- Select Constant Contact.
- Confirm the account shown is correct.
- If needed, disconnect the account and sign in again.
- Publish your design again.
What can cause this
The feature isn’t available on the current subscription plan.
What to do
- Check your account subscription in Settings and confirm you are on Pro, Business, or Enterprise.
- Upgrade your plan if needed, then reopen the design and try again.
Unable to connect to Constant Contact
What can cause this
Authorization wasn’t completed, or you are logged into the wrong Constant Contact account.
What to do
- Go to Share, then select Constant Contact again.
- Log out of Constant Contact if prompted.
- Log back in with the correct Constant Contact account.
- Approve access when asked to authorize Canva.
Cannot publish the design due to file size limit.
What can cause this
The design exceeds the 6MB file size limit supported by the integration.
What to do
- Reduce the file size by removing large images or compressing elements.
- Try publishing again.
